My name is Naw Kaung. I am a Palaung ethnic national from Burma. Palaung is an ethnic minority group, who live in the northern part of Shan State. There are over 1 million Palaung people living there, and most of them live in mountainous areas surrounding the central plain. I am very glad to have this opportunity to write about our people.
